Sarah has been a Crochet Artist since 2022.
I first picked up a crochet hook when I was 8 years old. I learned basic stitches and skills. It wasn’t until I was 22 when I truly fell in love with the craft of crochet.
The more time I spent with yarn and a hook in my hand, showed me that crochet can be a therapeutic craft. I found a multitude of benefits for my mental and emotional well-being by engaging in the repetitive and rhythmic movements of crocheting. It helped me to reduce stress and anxiety. The focused attention required to create intricate stitches acted as a form of meditation, allowing me to immerse myself in the present moment and find respite from the pressures of daily life. Additionally, the sense of accomplishment and pride that comes from completing a crochet project boosted my self-esteem and provided me a much-needed creative outlet. As a result, I turn to crochet as a means of self-care and to find solace in the simple act of working with yarn and a hook.
